Nordik Spa-Nature is partnering with the Gatineau Loppet, the largest international cross-country skiing event in Canada, as a GOLD Partner. A $20,000 investment over four years will be used to develop a recognition program designed for elite athletes. It’s only natural that two major Outaouais attractions with a mission to improve people’s health and wellness would join forces.

Recognition Program

Become a Nordik Skier

The Gatineau Loppet Nordik Spa-Nature Recognition Program is for elite cross-country skiers who want to surpass their limits by participating in two long races (25 km+) each year over a three-year period. Upon completion of the Recognition Program, athletes will earn the title of “Nordik Skier” and enjoy many privileges with Nordik.

Skiers in the Recognition Program are identified by the changing Nordik Spa-Nature logo on their race bib. Skiers who join the Program in year two (2019) will follow the same rules as those who participated in 2018, and so on. This is a long-lasting partnership that will encourage many people to overcome their limits.

Health and wellness privileges

To successfully complete the Nordik Spa-Nature Recognition Program, athletes must register and complete two long races at a single edition of the Gatineau Loppet.

After having met these requirements, participants will earn:

  • Year 1: A Nordik Spa-Nature gift and 50% off spa access.
  • Year 2: A Nordik Spa-Nature gift and 50% off spa access.
  • Year 3: An invitation to the Nordik Spa-Nature VIP evening, hosted on the final Sunday of the Gatineau Loppet.

Once participants have completed the full Recognition Program (3 years), they will earn the title of “Nordik Skier” and have access to the Nordik Spa-Nature VIP evening every year they complete two long races at the Gatineau Loppet.
