In november, plan your festivities

In november, plan your festivities

  • November 14, 2018

Ah, November! So unpopular. The month is grey and cold, the days are getting shorter… so it’s officially the ideal month to start planning holiday festivities! Besides, the earlier you begin, the more relaxed you’ll be when you get there.

Here are a few tips to help you get to December 24th healthy, stress-free and in good spirits.

Invite family and friends over

Plan your holiday schedule now, if you haven’t already. Do you have any traditions? Do you change it up every year? It’s important to take a moment with your loved ones to make a game plan. Determine who will host when and start planning travel details, days off, accommodations, and the menu.

Simplicity is often the key to success. The goal is to spend quality time with the people you hold dear. Plan your parties with tranquillity in mind so you can fully enjoy your guests’ presence. There’s no use causing yourself extra worry with superfluous decorations and ultra-sophisticated menus to impress others.

Focus on what’s essential. Happiness is guaranteed!

Plan ahead and offer what really matters

Start your holiday shopping early and avoid the crowds. Give yourself an evening to reflect, make a list of the people you’d like to give presents to and think about what they like. The idea here is to make them happy, simply, with a heartfelt gift. Forget all the tricks, the pressure to give excessively or give presents to everyone.

What really matters comes from the heart. It’s a personalized note, quality time, a getaway to relax and re-centre, or a little handmade item that showcases your (or your kids’) artistic or culinary talents.

To offer a moment of rest and relaxation, check out our holiday packages. Our wellness creators have put together experiences so you can give your loved ones a precious gift: time for themselves. This present won’t gather dust, that’s for sure!

Think about yourself, too

With all that, did you forget anyone? Although the holiday period is generally very busy, chaotic even, think about taking some time for yourself. Between get-togethers, give yourself permission to take a break. Your wellness and balance are just as important as those of the people around you. In fact, why not share a moment of rest and relaxation all together? That’s a different way to celebrate the holiday season!

Psst! The spa is open every day except December 25.
