Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Conditions”) govern the purchase of a ticket for admission to Nordik Spa Village. These Conditions constitute an agreement between you and Nordik Spa Village Chelsea inc. (« Nordik Spa Village »). By making a reservation, which constitutes a purchase of an admission ticket to Nordik Spa Village, by any means, including through its website or by telephone, you are agreeing to these Conditions.

Prices Displayed

Nordik Spa Village invoices in Canadian currency. All prices listed, unless otherwise stated, are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) before taxes. Rates are subject to change without notice. Please note that full payment is required at the time of booking.

Nordik Spa Village reserves the right at any time to change, suspend or discontinue any service (or any portion or content of any service) without notice and at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for any change in price, suspension or discontinuation of any service.

Guarantee & Pre-authorization

A valid credit card must be used to guarantee your reservation at Nordik Spa Village. Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to cancel any reservation made with an invalid credit card. 

On the day of your visit, Nordik Spa Village requires you to present a valid credit card and will pre-authorize a $150 charge on it, per guest. Upon arrival at Nordik Spa Village, you will be issued a unique RFID bracelet to be used by you to make purchases during your visit to Nordik Spa Village. At the end of your visit, the $150 pre-authorization will be adjusted automatically to take into account the purchases made on your RFID bracelet during your visit, and you will be charged for the actual amount spent. If your $150 pre-authorization is reached during your visit, another pre-authorization for the same amount will be processed automatically on the same credit card.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be requested by email at info@lenordik.com.

Please keep in mind that reservations remain fully refundable to the original method of payment if cancelled at least 48 h before the reservation time. 

Cancellations made between 24 h and 48 h prior to the reservation time will be entitled to a full reservation credit in the form of a gift certificate that will be sent to the email address used for booking. The credit may then be applied to a future reservation. It is also possible to postpone a reservation to another date up to 24 h before the original arrival time.  

Should you need to postpone or change a reservation within 24h before your reservation time, you may request it by phone (9 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST. on weekdays, or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m EST. on weekends) or via chat (8 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST), subject to a rebooking fee.

Force Majeure 

Nordik Spa Village will not be responsible for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Conditions or otherwise, which arise out of or is due to unforeseeable events independent of the intention of the parties such as but not limited to force majeure (“Force Majeure Events”), including, by way of example and not of limitation, all events of war, terrorist actions, interventions and prohibitions of official authorities, delays, weather, lack of power, labour conflicts, epidemics and pandemics. 

Liability Limitation

By purchasing an admission ticket and using Nordik Spa Village’s facilities and services, you agree that Nordik Spa Village is not responsible for any loss, damage, cost or expense resulting directly or indirectly from: 

• bodily injury or illness occurring on the site, except in the case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of Nordik Spa Village;

• theft, loss or damage to visitors’ personal property;

• any disruption, temporary or permanent closure, or any other modification of the facilities and services of the site;

• weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, riots, or any other event beyond the reasonable control of Nordik Spa Village.

Visitors are required to comply with all safety rules, instructions from staff, and instructions posted on the site. Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to refuse access or expel any person who does not comply with these rules without responsibility on his part. 

Nordik Spa Village shall not be liable in any way for any delay, interruption or other failure to perform its obligations resulting from a Force Majeure event, as defined above. 

Confidentiality

Nordik Spa Village is concerned about the privacy of its guests and undertakes to respect it. The Privacy Policy has been formulated to inform all guests of Nordik Spa Village of its firm commitment to this effect. No personal information is collected or disclosed, unless the prior consent of the user has been voluntarily obtained, whether by writing directly to an email address mentioned on our website, participating in a promotion, registering for a service, creating a profile, or in any other similar way.

Conformity

In order to safely provide guests with the requested services, Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to ask its guests to provide personal information or supporting documents if and when necessary. Personal information and supporting documents are treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Electronic Tickets and Resale

Illegal resale of any ticket of admission is strictly prohibited and can result in the cancellation of the purchase without refund or compensation. Admission tickets are not transferable nor exchangeable for money and are only valid for the date and time selected during the booking process. 

Promotional Use Prohibited Without Permission

Without prior written authorization from Nordik Spa Village, admission tickets cannot be sold or used for advertising and/or promotional purposes (including contests and lotteries).

Photographs & Social Content 

Photographs, videos or social media of any kind content taken at Nordik Spa Village cannot be used for any commercial purposes without prior official written consent from Nordik Spa Village. Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to seek compensation for any use which is contrary to these Conditions.

Eligibility

Access to Nordik Spa Village is reserved for guests aged 16 and over. Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to request proof of identity if there is any doubt about the guest’s age. 

Visitors under the age of 18 may not purchase or consume alcoholic beverages on Nordik Spa Village’s premises. Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to designate areas inaccessible to persons under the age of 18, to comply with any requirements related to its liquor license.  

The thermal experience is not recommended for people with heart problems, hypertension, breathing problems, angina, high-risk pregnancy or diabetes. 

Guests of Nordik Spa Village are strictly prohibited from bringing in or consuming outside food, alcohol, or illegal substances. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of Nordik Spa Village guests, the consumption of any form of tobacco or cannabis is prohibited at Nordik Spa Village. 

Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to inspect visitors’ bags and/or lockers in their presence.

Refusal of Access and Expulsion

Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to refuse access or expel any guest whom it considers is acting against its code of ethics, values, or behavioural etiquette, which can be found here.  

Interactions at Nordik Spa Village, including Nordik Spa Village social media platforms/sites, must be carried out in a respectful, harmonious, and courteous manner.  

Insulting, threatening, or harassing another guest or employee is prohibited. Nordik Spa Village maintains a zero-tolerance policy concerning defamatory, indecent, hateful, racist, xenophobic, homophobic, sexist, vulgar, or discourteous statements or any other violent act.

Modification of Conditions

Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to modify these Conditions and its cancellation policy at any time. The date of the last revision of these Conditions is displayed at the bottom of this page.

These Terms and Conditions of Sale for Gift Certificates (“Conditions”) govern the purchase of gift certificates, including, but not limited to, the purchase through the Nordik Spa Village website, by telephone, in person at the spa or our kiosks. These Conditions constitute an agreement between you and Nordik Spa Village Chelsea inc. (“Nordik Spa Village”). By purchasing a gift certificate from Nordik Spa Village through the Nordik Spa Village website, by telephone, in person at the spa or our kiosks, you accept these conditions.

Prices Displayed

Nordik Spa Village invoices in Canadian currency. All prices listed, unless otherwise stated, are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) before taxes. Gift certificates purchased are final sales and non-refundable. A gift certificate may not be purchased with a previously purchased gift certificate. 

Rates are subject to change without notice. In the event of a price increase, the difference must be supplemented for the desired service. 

Expiration of Gift Certificates

The monetary value of a gift certificate is always valid and does not expire. Its value can be applied to any type of reservation until the balance of the initial gift certificate has been fully used.

Using a Gift Certificate 

A gift certificate purchase does not guarantee a reservation. It acts as a payment method towards a reservation. Reservations are required and the conditions of sale associated to these must be respected. For security reasons and to prevent fraud,  gift certificates may only be used 48 hours after the date of purchase. 

Shipping Gift Certificates 

Gift certificates are shipped as soon as possible once the order has been processed. The processing and delivery times vary depending on the delivery address. Nordik Spa Village parcels are shipped via regular mail by Canada Post. 

Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to change the shipping costs of its gift certificates at any time and without notice. All shipping fees are in Canadian dollars. The sales tax is calculated based on the province of the spa for which the gift certificate is purchased. Nordik Spa Village cannot guarantee delivery of gift certificates to addresses outside of Canada. 

Shipping of gift certificates can be done as follows: 

• By email, free of charge and instantaneously
• By standard mail via Canada Post—4 to 7 business days ($5 + tax) 
• Express shipping via Purolator—1 to 3 business days ($25 + tax)

Gift Certificate Resale 

Illegal resale of any gift certificate is strictly prohibited and can result in the cancellation of the purchase without refund or compensation.

Nordik Spa Village has a strict privacy policy, which can be accessed via this link or in the footer. No personal information will be disclosed to anyone except during the transactional process of obtaining authorization from the credit card issuer or as required by law. 

Modification of Conditions

Nordik Spa Village reserves the right to change these Conditions and the Cancellation policy at any time. The date of the last revision of these Conditions is displayed at the bottom of this page.
